I loved Moon Zero Two. The one thing in my much much younger days which really gutted me was that I never got The Moon Zero Two edition of House of Hammer Magazine. I never ordered the magazine just used to bimble along to the very good comic shop we had in town. But that month for whatever reason they did not get it in. So no Moon Zero Two. And never got round to ordering a back issue copy. I do think Moon Zero Two is a Hammer Classic. Sure it looks creaky and dated and the sets wobble and its just a western on the moon, but for a space obsessed 9 year old (I did not see it until the mid 70s) who had not yet seen 2001 or Silent Running, and Star Wars had not yet been released. it was amazing.

Yes, I'm a big fan of 'MZ2'. Funnily enough, I'm missing that edition of the Hammer magazine, too. I'm sure I could get it now easily enough, but it would hardly be the same.

There was a copy on ebay just before Christmas. But you are right. It would not be the same. I also liked Moon Zero Two because it had Bernard Bresslaw in it.
So you can't go wrong there.
