We cannot rule out the possibility of some physical brain malfunction



A little clip that shows Freddie at work in 'The Man Who Haunted Himself'. What presence! Please watch for his trademark twitching head as he essays a wonderful character study in under three minutes. Is his accent a nod to R.D Laing, perhaps? Only Freddie knows.

Funnily enough I just watched this last night and it also struck me that Freddie might of had R.D. Laing in mind. I love Freddie myself of course, though I was bit surprised to hear that he's in Emmerdale at the moment. Turns up in the oddest places, as you say. I might dig out Fellini's And The Ship Sails On for my next Freddie fix (haven't seen it since it was on BBC2's Film Club).
