Just looked up the blurb on this film - bit sick for U-W, isn't it?

The version of the film that I have seen may be cut to bits but I found that although it does have a strong theme (sexual molestation leading to sexual violence) it’s not done here in a particularly explicit or gratuitous manner, although it can at times be quite disturbing, as befits the subject matter.

I much prefer my horror creepy and daft to than sick and explicit but this film has a bizarre dreamlike quality where the boundaries between the ‘real’ and imagined are blurred to the extent that it could all be an extended fantasy, and I think that fits right into our world and the American Nightmares series.
